About Greater El Monte Community Hospital
Serving our Community for over 40 Years
The South El Monte community is a vibrant blend of residents both young
and old just east of downtown Los Angeles, in the heart of the San Gabriel
Valley. For more than 40 years, the Greater El Monte Community Hospital
has been serving the area from a 117-bed facility that is fully accredited
by The Joint Commission and American Heart Association Certified. We are
an approved provider for Medi-Cal and Medicare programs. We are one of
the few hospitals who have met the high standards of the GACH (General
Acute Care Hospital) for California Health and Human Services Agency Hospital
Relicensing Survey. Our wide range of services includes critical care,
emergency care, diagnostic services, surgery, labor and delivery, and
rehabilitation. Overseeing these services is a team of highly trained
and qualified physicians, nurses, and other medical staff who are dedicated
to effective treatment and quality healthcare. Conveniently located between
the 10 and 60 freeways, we are able to provide a variety of quality healthcare
services to patients in this ever-growing community.
